Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Jackson Cross knows what it means to be tough. Along with Machida Hood, they form the tag team Cross the Hood. The duo have been lifelong friends to the point where they consider each other family.

With that hot-headed New York style attitude, Jackson Cross will not take crap from anybody and will always stand his ground. Despire this prideful display, Cross will do anything he can to do to win a match as he doesn't care how he wins, just as he succeeds.

That attitude of not taking crap from anyone reached a boiling point on The Hype when Shayne Anderson kept cancelling Cross the Hood's matches for the simple fact that Anderson hated them and wished to not see them on television. Wanting to lash out and show the world how much they improved, they accepted an offer into The Rebellion where now their talents can be viewed by the entire world.
