Tristan grew up in the Colorado Rockies where he dreamt of one day living out his lifelong dream of wrestling professionally. He left town when he was 18 and found the first place he could settle down to hone his craft. He went to college, got a degree, and seemed like he was about to turn toward the working world. Without much interest from wrestling promotions, Tristan thought that might be the end of his dream. Then, as fate might have it, he got a phone call from the office of Damien Lee. According to the phone call, they saw what they liked and wanted to give Tristan his chance to prove himself - on The Hype.

After a rocky start, Tristan dropped his last name, Cyan, and became more focused. He has since added a mean streak to his ability and it has served him well. He looks to start again and rise to the top of The Hype.
