A Look Back: Death Wish 2000 X-Wrestling Intercontinental Championship Crucifix (c) vs Xtreme "Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi The theme hits the PA system as Xtreme makes his way out with Perfecto behind him, wearing a referee's shirt. They both enter the ring, but then.. "Mouth" by Bush The theme of the champion plays as Crucifix makes his way out with the X-Wrestling Intercontinental Championship around his waist. Crucifix enters the ring and takes the belt off. Perfecto calls for the bell and this match is underway. Jack Wallace - These two have been waiting to get a piece of each other for quite some time.. now is their chance! Crucifix locks up with Xtreme. Xtreme goes into a side head lock and then backs Crucifix into the ropes. Crucifix shoves Xtreme off and sends him across the ring. Xtreme hits a nice shoulderblock and then heads off to the ropes once again. Xtreme steps over, bounces off of the opposite end and then gets leapfrogged by Crucifix. Crucifix goes down low for a monkey flip, Xtreme dives over, turns, goes for a spinning heel kick, Crucifix ducks, Crucifix goes for a leg sweep, Xtreme leaps over it and comes down for a leg drop, but Crucifix moves out of the way, stands, goes for a seated drop kick, Xtreme moves, both kick up to their feet and stare down to a round of applause from the crowd. Xtreme lands a right hand and then Crucifix goes with a left, but Xtreme blocks it and hits another right, then another and another. He then pummels Crucifix back into the ropes and then whips him acorss. Xtreme telegraphs a back body drop, but Crucifix leaps over him and then pulls him over with a sunset flip. One........ Two........ Xtreme rolls backwards up to his feet and slides between Crucifix's legs. One......... Two........ Crucifix flips him over and makes a cover. One........ Two...... Xtreme rolls it the other way. One......... Two....... Crucifix and Xtreme break at the same time, get back to their feet. They then charge each other and hit each other with a clothesline, knocking each other down. Perfecto shrugs and then starts a count of ten. One............. Two............ Three........... Four.......... Five.......... Six.......... Seven........ Eight......... Xtreme leans over and makes a cover on Crucifix. One........ Two...... Crucifix manages to get the shoulder up! Xtreme and Crucifx slowly stand up to their feet. Crucifix applies a side head lock and then starts punching away at the top of Xtreme's head. Xtreme then counters it with a back drop suplex. Xtreme stands up and waits on Crucifix.. once he stands, Xtreme lays him out with a superkick to the jaw. Xtreme goes down and makes another pinning combination. One......... Two......... Crucifix kicks out. Jack Wallace - Geez. Xtreme has hit him with a lot of stuff in the early opening of this match, and Crucifix was there to meet him on each one. It's hard to tell who will come out on top in this one. Jeff Hartman - One thing is bothering me.. Perfecto is being unbiased.. what the hell is up with that? Jack Wallace - Perfecto never said anything about favoritism... he just said he wanted to referee the match.. so what if he is unbiased? He's doing a good job! Jeff Hartman - That's because he's playing the part he should have since his career began. Xtreme pulls Crucifix back to his feet and then knees him in the stomach. Xtreme then hooks his head and goes for a ddt, but Crucifix stands his ground and Xtreme falls back and hits the mat hard. Crucifix then grabs Xtreme by the legs and then catapults him face first into the turnbuckles in the corner. He hits hard and then staggers back a few feet. Crucifix then grabs him by his arms, lifts him up and then nails the 7th Sin! Crucifix then goes down and makes a cover. Perfecto looks at him and then drops. One.................................... Two........................................................ Thr....wait.. Perfecto acts like he pulled a muscle in his shoulder and refused to count the three!!! Crucifix gets up and then confronts Perfecto. Perfecto then flips Crucifix off as Xtreme rolls him up from behind. One.............. Two.............. Crucifix kicks away in time! Crucifix stands and then runs over Xtreme with a clothesline from hell! Crucifix then spits on Xtreme as he then heads up to the top rope. Crucifix then leaps off and connects with the Leap of Faith on Xtreme. He then makes a cover. Perfecto dives to the mat in a hurry and counts. One............................................................ Two........................................................... Perfecto then once again acts like his shoulder is bothering him. Crucifix is extremely pissed off at this point and shoves Perfecto back. He then cusses him out a bit but then turns around to get kicked in the stomach by Xtreme. Xtreme then lifts him up and plants him in the middle of the ring with a nice brainbuster suplex! Xtreme then quickly heads to the top rope and leaps off, connecting with the Xtreme Measures! Xtreme makes the cover, but Perfecto drops a leg across the back of Xtreme's head!!!!!!! Perfecto pulls Xtreme to his feet, lifts him up and then nails the Perfect Picture! Crucifix gets up, grins and covers Perfecto knees down. One..Two..Three! "Mouth" by Bush starts up as Crucifix and Perfecto hug in the ring! Crucifix retains his title and the two of them walk to the back as Xtreme slowly sits up, holding his head and wondering what the hell just happened. Xtreme then gets up and makes his way backstage. Jack Wallace - I can't believe it! Perfecto turned his back on Xtreme, allowing Crucifix to reatin the Intercontinental Title!!!!! Jeff Hartman - YES YES YES!! It was soooo .....well.......so Perfect!! Jack Wallace - It's so disgusting if you ask me! Winner: Crucifix via Pinfall
