DAWNCAST: The Crimson Order
The camera offered a smooth pan across the velvet black tarp that was neatly draped over a sturdy metal obstruction with ’Dawncast’ logo radiating boldly in a bright lavender hue several inches before it. The closing shot was drawn toward the lovely host of the broadcast herself, Dawn Cassidy. Dressed in a cream ensemble, the journalistic siren
Dawn: Welcome back, jOlt Wrestling fans. I am your host, Dawn Cassidy & welcome to another edition of Dawncast. This week is a very important week as the Countdown is underway to the highly anticipated pay-per-view Thieves’ Honor. Day by day, expect more news, action, updates and much more to unfold 24/7 or be sure to check for all this & more at www.jOltwrestling.com. Tonight, I have the distinct pleasure to be granted with an in depth interview with one of the newest acquisitions to both jOlt Wrestling & the Tag Team Wrestling roster. They made their official & successful debut against Clan Avispa on iNtense: Episode 72. Here they are; Heido...Takeshi and their manager, Mamoru...They are The Crimson Order.
{The camera shifted onto the trinity of chairs, accommodated by The Crimson Order w/ their newly appointed manager, Mamoru. The elder statesman wore a Onyx tailor made suit with a Crimson Satin Handkerchief, tucked into his breast pocket. Heido remained stoic underneath the comfort of his tattered coolie hat. His Red Gi w/ Black Trimmed attire is as presentable as the ninja allowed them to be. The Mute Mountain, Takeshi is wearing a Onyx & Gold Sleeveless Gi with Onyx Baggy trousers with Gold & Crimson Kanji markings. The clean shaven titan is seen popping the bones in his neck while seated near his comrades. Mamoru was seen tugging at his cigar, nestled into his opposing breast pocket yet refrained.}
Dawn: “Good Evening, gentlemen.”
Heido & Mamoru (in unison): “Konnichiwa.”
Dawn: Konnichiwa. “It is wonderful & an honor to have you gentlemen here.
Mamoru: “It is a pleasure, Miss Cassidy.”
Dawn: “Now my first question is perhaps many wrestling fans would like to know and that is what led to the Crimson Order to be formed?”
{Mamoru & Heido exchanged a brief yet mutual look before Heido proceeded to answer first.}
Heido: The Order was brought together by sheer circumstance. Takeshi & I were involved in opposing yet developmental promotions at the time that are no longer in operation. Takeshi was with the Shogun Pro Japan Wrestling. It was I that represented the All Japan Wrestling Conference. My brother & I would challenge each other for the Oni Wave Tournament Cup in the Finals twice in consecutive years. Takeshi, at the time, was among the premier grapplers as his former manager by the name Yoshi Katagaro. His wisdom & strict code of discipline transformed my brother into a more proficient weapon in the singles ranks. However, it was in Mr. Katagaro’s dismissal that Takeshi began to struggle. Given his ‘condition’, issues arose in the absence of an effective voice.
Mamoru: “At this time, I was commissioned to head talent relations for the developmental league. There were conversations that arose for the next prodigy the emerge & represent Puroresu. Lord Kenshiro was still immersed in his sabbatical from professional wrestling yet appeared unannounced during the Oni Wave Tournament. Two weeks later, traffic from the United States began to increase and given the strong debates concerning these men, it was difficult to choose between these two so it was only right to send both. We had other talent to ensure growth within the Japanese leagues and with a respectable stint, training with the RingRats Academy, the Crimson Order was born.”
Heido: “It was shortly after the All Japan Wrestling Conference organization folded that Takeshi & I entertained the idea of combining forces in which we competed for, obtained & defended the Shogun Pro Japan Wrestling Tag Team Championships. He & I became the last bearers of the belts when the promotion closed in 2010.”
Dawn: Now how would you define your respective & combined wrestling styles?
{Takeshi began to quickly utilized sign language toward Heido for immediate translation.}
Heido: Takeshi is very proficient with the Strong Style. A methodical brawler that is well versed in the Way of Technical Brutality. Power & Suppression is his definition of finesse.
Mamoru: As for Heido, he is well versed in the Art of Strong Style. However, the application of Submission based techniques & martial arts precision render him a very challenging opponent indeed. Excessive flash nor entertainment starved offense are not in their repertoire. On their own, they are formidable yet together, they work together as a well-oiled machine. It is impressed upon them to exploit the weaknesses of their opposition in order to crush them. Finality is desired result, among others.”
Dawn: “Now, speaking of Takeshi, I am understand, according to my notes, that he has a ‘functional disability’?”
{The clean shaven giant flashed a slightly annoyed glare toward the journalist as Heido raised his hand slightly in protest.}
Mamoru: “That is correct. Takeshi is a mute for reasons of a delicate nature. However, there have been successful individuals in this industry such as Deacon of CSWA & fWo fame as well a minute few. Takeshi will carve out a legacy respectively of his own.”
Dawn: “With that being said, how are you both, Heido & Mamoru, able to effectively bridge the communication gap as both manager & tag team partner? We’ll start with you, Heido.”
Heido: “As you can see, I have learned Sign Language for over a number of years with the reality that my niece & mother are both hearing impaired. It is almost a natural way to sustain privacy and with its share of benefits in the presence of the unlearned. There are other means to not only retain yet strengthen the bond between us as a team. Similar to that of your American Football, he have created our own dialect that is both efficient & expedient in order to maximize our awareness & united efforts.”
Dawn: “And you, sir?”
Mamoru: “I, too possess a sound understanding of sign language yet make no mistake; it pales heavily in comparison to the dynamics that they have together. I am more vocal than signing dependent. Not to mention, the grand variances of such communication styles make us all the more effective beyond just our combined efforts but a myriad of tactical advantages that ensure our opposition remain off balanced.”
Dawn: “Now it is a well established fact that all of you are proud representatives of the Inogami Clan so how does such an affiliation manage to contribute to you all respectively & personally?”
{Heido turned his head toward Takeshi who began communicating with him at a notably hastened pace.}
Heido: Takeshi confesses that he has managed to reclaim his faith in the concept of family once more. The courage to not only challenge himself but to rekindle his passions in his respective arts & recreations of choice. He says he is no longer alone within a crowd of people like before. Humanity can be cruel especially with those who are perceived as ‘different’.”
Dawn: “Mamoru.”
Mamoru: “Leadership. The ability to assume both the roles of student & master in ways unimagined. I remain youthful because of them as well as learn the cost of learning patience.”
Heido: “Discipline. Duty. Order. Far contrasts from when many of us, myself especially, orientated from.”
Dawn: “Are any of your concerned about public perception?”
{Mamoru & Takeshi scoffed gently amongst each other as Heido popped the bones in his neck.}
Mamoru: “That is among the very least of our mutual concerns. We are more preoccupied with our contention for & security of our positions as Chief Retainers of the Tag Team Championships. Public Appeasement is an often proven & costly liability in and of itself.”
Dawn: “In your recent weeks of scouting the Tag Team landscape and opposing teams, what have your assessments been made in regards of each team and who stand as your potentially greatest oppositions to your ultimate goal in becoming champions?”
Mamoru: Granted, there are a number of teams that yet to showcase their respective styles nor methods of engagement. However, there are a few whom have been able to provide sufficient information; The House, the current champions are while mutual powerhouses, their apparent lack of emotional discipline is a very notable Achilles’s Heel that many are too eager to exploit. They are energetic as they are seemingly too easily distracted. Devestation Inc., the diminutive yet unique tandem of cruiserweight brawlers, rely on the arrogance & relaxed defenses of their opposition. Far too many easily set themselves in position for failure in their dealings against them. What they lack in size, they more than compensate with technical prowess, uncanny speed & underestimated strength.
Team Ego...Brash. Pompous. Undisciplined more often than necessary. Their combined talent is often compromised by their juvenile antics and need for attention. Total Conquest are the remnants of a broken faction. Far too many areas to easily exploit. Clan Avispa are of a proud heritage which urges them to become & remain devout students of their craft yet there is always downside in the support, expectations & contributions to generational legacies. Pressure to succeed is their greatest vice. The Heirs of Wrestling are a strong team as they are often immature. They too have a legacy to account for yet their overall ability barely undermines their lust for arrogance & other notable short comings. Make no mistake, I foresee that is all in part of their ruse to psychologically undermine their opponents. They display hints of a cerebral pairing on occasion.”
Dawn: “What are your thoughts about The Jury?”
Mamoru: A team in transition. Change is never without its share of lessons nor challenges. He under the care of a very intelligent manager yet mere thugs with an egotistical & combined primitive mind set will ensure that phyrric victories are but most certain in the ranks of competition. An apparent lack of maturity in the most vital of areas. Troubling for them yet beneficial to The Order.”
Dawn: “And what about Sweet, Sweet, Lovin’?”
Mamoru: “Ah yes. The fat one and the slender gentleman. Interesting combination with their need for over the top theatrics. I will credit them with their immense propensity for entertaining the crowd and their willingness to bring smiles to the faces to the naturally & intentionally juvenile yet highly unorthodox approach. Interesting pairing indeed. In all respects, it matters not who The Order face for the opportunity to become champions. While all appear worthy in their own rights, it is imperative that I ensure the Crimson Order remain focused upon bring that championship legacy into fruition.”
Dawn: “Gentlemen; are there any final thoughts? Projections?”
Mamoru: “We shall allow our combined actions speak in concert with our words from this moment forward. The Order are primarily not in the business of crafting empty promises, fueled by aimless ambitions.”
Dawn: “Well, I wish to thank you gentlemen once again for your time on the show this evening. Ladies & Gentlemen, that is the end of yet another edition of the DawnCast. Thank you all & goodnight.”
Mamoru: “It was our pleasure, Miss Cassidy.”
{Both Heido & Takeshi cleared their throats as Mamoru stood and responded with a faint nod while casually fishing for his cigar. The Crimson Order stood calmly as the Inogami Clan trinity left in an orderly fashion.}
