ROCK THE HOUSE! EPISODE 06 Hammerstein Ballroom, New York, NY Attendance: 2000 Fans (Sell out) Last week’s summary: The Six Pack challenge saw the final two entrants in Adam Lazarus and Jason Rau! The six men in the match were set and now we knew one of them would walk away with the opportunity to challenge any champion of their choice! We also got treated to a surprise appearance by Tyke and JET as they took on the team of Chris Titan and Daryn Thompson. Sadly, Tyke and JET came up short, but before the match we learned the Damien Lee made the match between Daryn Thompson and Aria Murphy for tonight’s show. Persephone was set to be the special referee and with her friendship to Aria Murphy, her role appeared to be biased, however, that view changed when after the match, Aria attacked Daryn and when Persephone tried to break it up, Aria shoved Persephone away! After an open challenge that kicked off the show, Mike Extreme faced Grendel in an Underground Rules match. Extreme’s idea of Grendel not showing up backfired and Grendel and Extreme went to war, but it was the monster himself, Grendel, that stood tall in the end! And that brought us to this week’s Rock the House!  Match #1 Special Referee: Persephone Aria Murphy vs Daryn Thompson Match Summary: Aria and Daryn went right at it. All of the pent up aggression came out in Aria as she began to turn the tide and dominated Daryn. Aria then began to ignore Persephone’s warnings when Aria wouldn’t break away from the corner after pummeling away at Daryn Thompson. At one point Aria shoved Persephone much like she did the week prior. Persephone wouldn’t stand for it and hit a front roundhouse kick to Aria Murphy!!! Aria then staggered right into a Dust in the Wind.. a Sit Out Spinebuster from Daryn. Aria then made the fast count and Daryn ended up with the win! Winner: Daryn Thompson via Dust in the Wind Match Time: 5:18 Match Rating: ** Post Match: Persephone spit on Aria Murphy as the crowd turned on her. She walked to the back by herself and left Aria Murphy laying there! Match #2 Anything Goes Match The West Texas Terrorists vs Sweet Sweet Lovin’ Match Summary: As anyone would expect… this was a wild brawl that went all over the Hammerstein Ballroom! Eli and Sam Sweet battled through the crowd while Ezra and Lennox Love battled up the entrance ramp to the stage! The brawl took them all over the venue until they made their way back to the ring. In the ring, Ezra gained control of the match over Lennox Love until Love got the tag to Sam Sweet. Sweet came in like a house on fire and started to take care of Ezra Conway. Eli hopped off the ring apron and brought a table out from underneath the ring. He set it up at ringside and then hopped up on the apron. Eli taunted Sam over and Sam charged in, but Ezra side stepped and kicked him in the face as he came through the ropes! Eli pulled him to the apron, but Lennox Love circled around and grabbed Eli. Eli tried to fight Love off, but Love ended up hitting a powerbomb on Eli through the table! Sweet recovered and saw Ezra staggering back to his feet. Sam went up top as Lennox slid back in. Lennox put Ezra down with a clothesline and Sam came off the top with the big body splash! Sam got the cover and the three and finally the revenge he’d been looking for! Winner: Sweet Sweet Lovin’ via Sweet Emotion (Sam) Match Time: 22:14 Match Rating: ****1/2 MAIN EVENT Six Pack Challenge Kayden Paulton vs Statuz Quo vs Mike Extreme vs Grendel vs Adam Lazarus vs Jason Rau Match Summary: To say that this was anything but chaos and mayhem would have been the understatement of the century! All six men battled in the ring and it was chaos incarnate! Bodies spilled to the outside while others remained in the ring. Quo and Paulton brawled at ringside while Mike Extreme teamed up with Jason Rau and Adam Lazarus to try and take out the biggest threat, Grendel, but Grendel was more man that anyone could handle. After headbutt after headbutt, he knocked them down. Grendel then hoisted Mike Extreme up over his head, in a display of power, and tossed him to ringside where he crashed into both Quo and Paulton! Grendel then ran over Jason Rau and Adam Lazarus with a double clothesline. Grendel pulled Adam up and tossed him out of the ring which lead to Grendel hitting a massive spinebuster on a lone Jason Rau then right into Pain, his bow and arrow submission hold, for the win and the right to challenge any champion of his choosing! Winner: Grendel via Pain Match Time: 37:51 Match Rating: **** The show then closed with the sight of the monster known as Grendel as he stood tall in the middle of the ring. |
