"Ladies and Gentlemen, for the last two months your jOlt World Heavyweight Champion, Aran Thompson, has been at constant odds against ther former champion; Derecho."

"Ahem"

The scene opens up with Donny Layne sitting in a room that is covered with security as Aran Thompson sat on his left and Derecho sat on his right. Donny had just introduced the segment and was interrupted by Aran clearing his throat and staring a hole into the head of Layne as Derecho did the same to Aran.

"Is there a problem, Aran?" Donny asked very politely.

Aran nodded his head.

"Yes."

As Aran replied, Laurie Williams walked into the frame as Security surrounded her and Derecho stood up with his fists clinched tightly. Laurie handed Aran his Relentless Championship and jOlt Championship over each of his legs.

"You forgot to acknowledge all of my accolades."

Layne looked at the Relentless Championship and turned his head over to Derecho mouthing the words, "is he serious?". But Derecho just continued his death stare as Aran interrupted Layne once again.

"You asked us both here, in a room filled with security because you wanted to talk about Cataclysm. You wanted to talk about Derecho's last ditch effort to prove people wrong. But just like this entire set up and your misinformed attitude, you have done nothing to sway the truth from the fact that I have, week in and week out proven myself. I've gone above and beyond the call of duty in maintaining my jOlt World Championship. I've graciously agreed to retire the Relentless Championship. I've beaten every opponent I've stepped into the ring against since winning the jOlt Championship. I've proven that I deserve to be called the future of this industry and yet, none of you seem to be able to accept it."

Aran shook his head and pointed at Derecho who slapped Aran's hand away and the security reacted quickly getting in between both men.

"Derecho is mad because for two months I've managed to be in his head. He'll sit there and tell you that after a full year of being on top and wrestling against the likes of Ninja K, and Sylo that he was tired. So he took a vacation. When the truth is, he is upset that I proved him wrong. Just like I proved Vince Jacobs wrong. Just like I proved four other men in the Thieves Honor match wrong...."

"Wait..." Layne interrupted Aran, who seemed dumbfounded that Donny even had the nerve to do so.

"What about Waymoth, he was in that match as well."

Aran shook his head.

"Do any of you even listen? Waymoth and myself walked into that match knowing that it was anybody's game. All seven of us were confident. All seven of us thought we had the potential to be the champion at the end of the night. The difference between Waymoth and I was that we also believed that it could have been either one of us. Nobody else had the same respect for another person in that match and in the end, I won. Me. Aran Thompson. Waymoth is on his way to becoming Underground Champion and I know he can do that as well. But you're stalling."

Aran turned his attention to Derecho.

"What do you have him stalling for? huh? You think that these security guards are going to turn their back on their double champion!? Huh?! Remember half of these guys are the same group of guys that I paid off to put you in a closet. Do you think I don't expect you to have some grand scheme to out scheme me?"

Aran shook his head.

"I've told my guys to stand back. When the main event of Cataclysm begins and that bell sounds, they are to leave you and I alone no matter WHERE our match takes us because I am THAT confident in beating you."

Aran handed the Relentless Championship back to Laurie and stood up holding the jOlt Championship in his hand.

"I told you, if you want this back you have to earn it. And that means you have to be better than the man that has out-smarted you, out-wrestled you, hell I killed you once! I destroyed your brother, and a week later your stupidity caused him to destroy you. I destroyed your new found friend Le Bon, and then I destroyed Saunders. I've left you laying in the middle of that ring so many times, that there is rumor of it being designed "The Derecho Zone".

Aran turned away and Derecho, in all his rage fury, finally broke his silence.

"Don't you fucking turn your back on me again." Derecho muttered, and Aran slowly turned around snarling.

Derecho stood up as Aran stopped in his tracks.

"I'm not going to deny that you've done all of that and have done a teriffic job of trying to get into my head, but the difference between you and Sylo and is that Sylo took advantage of me when the curse of the Underground Championship seeped in and made a residence in my head... you, on the other hand, haven't affected me at all with the one exception that you've just really pissed me off."

Aran grinned and turned around.

"That's called getting into your head, dumbass" said Aran.

"In some ways yes, but Sylo caused me to lose all control over myself, but in the end, I was thankful because I did lose my Underground Championship and then that curse was lifted. I, once again, have full control over myself and I still do to this very moment.. and do you know what happens when I'm pissed off and am in full control of myself?"

Derecho paused.

"It means that no matter what you say... or what you do... none of it is going to matter. The only fact is that you did a splended job of pissing me off and come Cataclysm, you're going to find out what happens to people who not only piss me off, but do so on a very personal level."

Aran chuckled to himself. "Are you serious? That is the most empty and basic threat I've ever heard!"

Derecho walked over and grabbed Aran by the shirt. Security started to move in, but Aran commanded them to remain where they were.

"It's okay guys.. let's see what he has to say." said Aran.

"All I am going to say is this... if you thought the King of the Underground and the King of Hell were just some petty nicknames, then I HEAVILY advise you to change your attitude because with the way that you pushed me... at Cataclysm.. you're going to not only wish.. but beg and pray to whatever higher power will listen.. that I really was dead. Not only will I take MY championship back... I'm going to make sure that you do not.. because you physically can not.. walk out of that arena. THAT is a..... fucking.... promise."

Derecho then shoved Aran back. He was about to stumble when the security guards caught him. Derecho ripped off his microphone and threw it in the direction of Aran Thompson as he walked off the set.

Donny Layne looked around and then composed himself.

"Well.... looks like there are some explosive elements going into the main event of Cataclysm. Ladies and Gentlemen.. the time is drawing near! In just seven days, jOlt Wrestling presents Cataclysm on Pay-Per-View! Order now!"

The scene fades to black.
