Honor Among Thieves

There was a long hallway. Derecho, the jOlt Champion, had the championship draped over his shoulder. At the end of this hallway was a black curtain, however, the curtain was some distance away. Derecho walked down this hallway and was stopped along the way by Waymoth Turnbull. Waymoth simply looked at the championship and stared Derecho down as he walked away.

The next person to interrupt Derecho's path was Jimmy B. Martinez. JBM crossed his arms as Derecho paused momentarily and continued on.

Derecho then came up to Craig Thomas. There was no Strangler, nor was there any Adam Roebuck or Derrick Huber. Thomas stood there, alone and smirked, knowing that he got his hands on Derecho once, that he could do it again.

Derecho continued on down the hall when Tyke crossed his path. Tyke and Derecho had a long history. The two of them came to a face to face staredown. The tension felt like it could explode at any moment, but Tyke simply muttered a "heh" and walked away, letting Derecho pass.

As Derecho continued on down the path, a large arm grabbed Derecho by the shirt. It was Grendel. Derecho stared fearlessly into the eyes of the monster. Grendel saw the fearlessness of the champion and released him and then let him pass.

Next up was Aran Thompson. He stopped Derecho right before the curtain. Aran had the Relentless Championship over his shoulder. Derecho's biggest problem was with this man. The two champions stared each other down for what seemed like an eternity. Eventually, Aran moved out of the way and Derecho walked through the curtain.

Derecho stood atop a stage.. it was the Arena of Champions in Orlando, FL. The site of Thieves' Honor. The set was already set up.. the ring was in place, but the seats were completely empty. Derecho was about to take a step forward when Spike Saunders walked through the curtain and placed his hand on his shoulder.

Derecho turned and looked at Saunders.. all of a sudden, Aran Thompson, Grendel, Jimmy B. Martinez, Waymoth Turnbull, Craig Thomas, and Tyke all came out on the stage. Derecho slowly backed away from them as he walked down the entrance ramp. Derecho climbed into the ring and faced the seven men who painted a target on his back.

Derecho slid the jOlt Championship off of his shoulder and laid in the middle of the ring. He stood behind it as it symbolized a line that was meant to be crossed. Derecho stood alone versus the world in the center of that ring. The other seven stood at the top of the ramp and in unison, took a step onto the entrance ramp.

The scene then became blurred before it faded to black.

What was left was the Thieves' Honor PPV logo.
