A Bolt of Knowledge

Broken There have been FIVE World Heavyweight Championship caliber belts in jOlt's illustrious history. The first was the jOlt World Heavyweight Title, the classic belt used circa 2001. The ORIGINAL jOlt World Heavyweight Title. There were two versions of this belt used, an authentic copy, and a re-make. When erØn left jOlt Wrestling after Rise of the Legends, he took home the Authentic. For Kodiak Vic Creed and The Don’s reigns, the re-make was used.

Then the jOlt World Championship, used in 2002 for the Second Season. The belt was smaller, with the Superman shape of the then Jolt logo, and blue tinted metal. Erik Rave burnt the title during a Pinnacle of Insane Wrestling event, not destroying the belt but scarring the leather and bending the metal in places.

Then the Jolt Triple Crown Championship. A large, fancy plated title, weighing at least 45lbs. The belt was enshrined with a “JW” logo, and written in front was, “Jolt Triple Crown Championship” with an empty plate for the Champion’s name. On the belt to the left and right were crown shaped metal that held the old “jOlt” and jOlt Season II logos. A tournament was held to decide the first holder of the Jolt Triple Crown Championship, a title that included both the new belt and both of the previous titles which were returned to Jolt by erØn and Erik Rave respectively. A tournament won by Brandon Youngblood. Youngblood was, after a time, defeated by the final man to hold all three Championship's, Kenjiro Ito.

After Ito refused to return any of the three original titles (a fact that no doubt hurt his contract talks with the new company), the jOlt board of trustees decided to forego using the replica title of the jOlt World Heavyweight Title and instead created it's spiritual precursor, the jOlt Championship, helping to signify a new future for jOlt! The jOlt Champion will be decided at Divide & Conquer in an epic confrontation, this SUNDAY, between Sylo and Superstar Vince Jacobs.

Quotes of the Month

"I did the only logical thing and drop kicked the windshield." - iNtense 35: Sylo.

"Dawn, Dawn, Dawn. The problem is that most people fear that big blue bastard but I am on a different level than others. I do not fear any man, let alone Jay Sylo. Do you know why Sylo was a Legacy Champion? Because he had Black Tom at his disposal. Now this is the same man that claims I always have someone watching my back. Wasn’t he the same man that turned his back on the fans to join the Faction?" - Warriors 01: Superstar Vince Jacobs.

"Last week on iNtense Brandon Blade competed in a Loser Leaves jOlt match aganist Alexander Jerusalem for the jOlt Championship ... a match in which Brandon lost. It is an incredibly unfortunate situation, and something I may not completely agree with, but I regret to inform all of you that Brandon Blade is no longer on the jOlt roster." - iNtense 36: Damien Lee.

"I said you need to pull your head out of your ass. You're letting things get the best of you. Hell, a lot of the original guys are. This isn't the jOlt you remember. In the jOlt you remember you were a Tag Team Champion and a breakout star. Not here, bud. Here you're a novelty. A jOlt "original" that's on this roster as a publicity stunt. Let me ask you something, when this place was running under a different name did they ever give you a call to come out?" - Warriors 02: Reno Davis to Chris Titan.

"The fuck it hasn’t! I’ve done more IN Jolt and FOR Jolt then any son of a bitch on your roster… and not ONE of my accolades is even on that eye sore of a website that you’ve got!" - iNtense 37: Kenjiro Ito.

"But I’m not your typical king. I don’t believe in robes and scepters and crowns and banquets and castles and all of that stereotypical nonsense. I am the essence of a king because when it comes to the Underground, I OWN this division and anyone who has challenged me for that proverbial throne has fallen at my feet and has been vanquished from my kingdom ..." - Warriors 03: Derecho.

"Shhhhhhh. I don't know where you think you are but this isn't the kitchen." - iNtense 38: Rune Winters to Daryn Thompson.

"Ok, ok, ok... we need to get on with the show here! As much as I think 60 minutes of people chanting my name would be ratings gold, I don't think it will earn me much love with the rest of the guys. There's a couple of things I want to address, and then we can all watch some people beat the crap out of each other." - Warriors 04: Wippit Guud.
