"YOU WILL WISH FOR DEATH"

A lone spotlight hit the middle of the ring in the empty arena. The darkness surrounding the ring was very spine-chilling. The two-time Underground champion sat in the spotlight with his trademark black hoodie covering his head and face. The long dreadlocks flow from the opening of the hoodie half way to the mat as the champion stared at the squared circle. The Underground championship rest on Omega’s right shoulder as the camera peered in on the spotlight. The ominous darkness surrounded the champion as he continued to stare at the mat before speaking.

“Michael Donavan…” The big man hesitated for a few seconds before speaking again. “We applaud your panache in believing that you will take this championship from Omega. Your adamant focus in making a statement at our expense is very unexpected. We never thought that a devotee as yourself would be able to gather enough mental toughness to even do something out of the ordinary. However, in doing what you did you made a very poor error in judgment.”

Omega never moved a muscle as the low monotone voice continued from underneath the hoodie.

“We understand how you feel. You want to be respected, and perceived as a threat. You want to be accepted by Le Bon and the Rebellion and you felt that the only way to do this was to make a name for yourself. Did you really think this through Michael? Did you realize after the first attack that you’ve gone too far? We don’t believe you did or maybe you are concealing your fear of the unfamiliar by enduring on with this pretense because you know you are not able to get out of what you’ve already started. When people see me they see a maniac that will do unspeakable things to people if given the opportunity. They see something more. They see us ascending to new and revealing statures in jOlt. You are just a mere obstacle to them and it’s Omega’s job to extinguish you.”

“We said once we became one things would get a little more chaotic and unpredictable around here. Michael Donavan it starts with you. We are going to make you into an example for what’s to come. You did a nice job of getting our attention, now our question to you is… Now that you have our attention what will you do? Will you run and hide because you made a mistake and cannot go back to Le Bon and condemn your actions. You will suffer to no end. You will beg for mercy. Michael Donavan you will pray for us to end you and we will oblige. Check under your bed tonight because you never know where the boogeyman will lurk.”

A sick laugh echoed throughout the empty arena.
